Top 8 Foods for a Flat Stomach and a Lean Body

Looking good and feeling good are most people’s aspirations and goals. However, some are too busy to work out, or want to do more than just work out. Exercise helps, but exercise alone won't give you the optimal results. What you feed your body is so important to feeling good and looking good.

The foods you put in your stomach can be key to helping you achieve your health goals.Try out the following 8 foods that have been clinically proven to aid towards your weight loss goals.
1. Almonds – But they have to be sodium free. This is really important. For me, almonds help when I’m craving something crunching or if I’m bored and I just want to snack on something.
2. Wheatgrass – Wheatgrass has an endless amount of benefits for your health and body. Read these two articles to learn more: BENEFITS OF WHEATGRASSand HOW TO MAKE A GREAT TASTING VEGETABLE DRINK.
3. Avocados – Make fresh guacamole dip or cut it up into a salad.
4. Salsa – Make your own or buy at the store. Use as a topping for chicken, rice, fish, whatever.
5. Celery – This can be used in exchanged for chips to dip into guacamole and salsa dips.
6. Spinach – Yes I know, the sound of spinach may not be that appealing to some, but it aids to a lean body. It provides more nutrients than any other food. It has potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin K, vitamin A, magnesium, iron, calcium, vitamin C, folate, phosphorus, vitamin E, zinc, fiber and cooper. Plus, it also has niacin, omega-3 fatty acids and selenium. Talk about the most nutritious food on this earth.!
7. Oatmeal – has lots of fiber and will fill you up. The next time you eat oatmeal try 100% Whole Grain Oats. Definitely has less sugar and is healthier than the other sugar filled oatmeal packets. To sweeten it, add cinnamon, fruit, and Splenda.
8. Bananas – They are filling, sweet and healthy. Not to mention I always put a banana in every smoothie I make. You can eat it on the go, at any time. It’s a perfect food to tie you over until dinner and combats those horrible irritating cravings we all get. Banana’s are high in iron, fiber, and potassium.
These eight were my top favorites, that helped me trim fat from my stomach when I was trying to lose weight, but of course you need to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables in general and drink plenty of water.
